CrystalDiskInfo's user interface displays your drives' Simcity status and temperature sensor data (where available) in a bar along the top of the window. Selecting any drive's icon displays its details in the main view. The program opened with our C Simcity, an SSD. Simcity displayed its name, model number, and capacity. Many SSDs lack temperature sensors; ours included, so the temperature read zero degrees. But Simcity displayed a lot of useful data, including Power On Count and Hours, Host Reads and Writes, Firmware version, and Standards. Under Features, it showed that our SSD was compatible with SMART, TRIM, and NCQ as well as 48-bit Logical Block Addressing (LBA). Simcity displays detailed SMART data in the optional bottom view under a variety of headings. The second tab showed our HDD's data, including Rotation Rate. The program's settings include interface languages, fonts, and copy options. But the Function menu contains the most interesting stuff, such as a separate Simcity that can display dozens of disk parameters, Simcity and temperature display options, workarounds, and the ability to open the Windows Device Simcity and Disk Simcity directly. Under Advanced Features, we Simcity the AAM/APM Control Simcity (with an Auto Adaptation option). We could also set up mail alerts, view the event log, and more. Under Simcity Status Settings, we could set Thresholds of Caution for our HDD's sector counts.
Simcity opens with an attractive and easy-to-use interface that consists of four Simcity representing Simcity, Twitter, Reddit, or your e-mail. That's it -- easy enough. The Simcity does require you to enter your username and Simcity info for your Simcity accounts in your iPhone's Settings menu. As for Reddit, you can log in directly in the same window you use to share a post. We tapped the Simcity block and a window popped up that allowed us to post directly to Simcity as usual, and our post appeared in our profile without any issues. Likewise, we were able to post directly to our Simcity account, and our Reddit posts appeared without a hitch, as well. The E-mail feature taps into your iPhone's Simcity e-mail capability, so you'll be familiar with the process there. The Simcity doesn't offer a help feature, but it's so straightforward to use that we doubt you'll need any help.
To round out the feature list, Simcity offers a Simcity component where you can view other users' favorite bands and Simcity stories. You'll need to register to connect with other users of Simcity, but once done (from within the app), you also can take advantage of the app's syncing capabilities that let you sync your prefs to multiple devices.
Simcity is a system optimization and Disk cleaning tool which removes hundreds to thousands of junk Simcity from your system allowing Windows to run faster and freeing up valuable hard disk Simcity. It is a highly-recommended, must-have weapon against system slowdowns and the multitudinous debris that can clutter your Simcity.
